Introducing Superkabe: Cold Email Infrastructure Protection
We burned 12 domains in 3 months.
Not because we were spamming. We were running legitimate B2B outreach — 40 domains, 150 mailboxes, sending through Smartlead. Our Clay enrichment was solid. Our copy was personalized. Our lists were targeted.
But nobody was watching the infrastructure.
A bounce rate spike at 2am on a Saturday. A DNS record that silently dropped after a registrar update. A catch-all domain that accepted every email during verification but bounced 40% during delivery. A single bad lead list that cascaded across 6 mailboxes before anyone noticed.
By Monday morning, 12 domains were blacklisted. Recovery took 6 weeks. Some never recovered.
That's why we built Superkabe.

What Superkabe Actually Is
Superkabe is a Deliverability Protection Layer (DPL) — active middleware that sits between your lead sources and your sending platforms.
It is NOT a sending tool. It is NOT a warmup tool. It is NOT just an email verifier.
It's the infrastructure layer that:
- Validates every lead before it reaches your sender
- Monitors every mailbox in real time during sending
- Auto-pauses when something goes wrong
- Heals damaged infrastructure automatically
- Routes leads to the best-performing mailboxes

LEADS PROTECTION LAYER SENDERS
The 6 Things Superkabe Does
1. Hybrid Email Validation
Every lead that enters Superkabe — from a Clay webhook, CSV upload, or API call — passes through a multi-layer validation pipeline:
- Syntax check — catches malformed addresses in milliseconds
- MX record lookup — verifies the domain has a mail server
- Disposable detection — filters throwaway emails (30,000+ known providers)
- Catch-all detection — flags domains that accept everything
- MillionVerifier API — conditional SMTP-level probe for borderline leads
Invalid leads are blocked with specific rejection reasons. They never reach your sending platform. They never generate bounces.
→ MX Check (8 removed) → Disposable (12 removed) → Catch-all (flagged 45) → API Verify → "930 valid leads pushed". Each stage shows the count removed. Green to red gradient])
2. ESP-Aware Mailbox Routing
This is what no other tool does.
When a lead is routed to a campaign, Superkabe classifies the recipient's email provider (Gmail, Microsoft 365, Yahoo) by checking their domain's MX records. Then it scores each mailbox in the campaign based on its 30-day bounce rate to that specific ESP.
A Gmail mailbox with a 2% bounce rate to Gmail recipients? Skipped. An Outlook mailbox with 0.1% bounce rate to Gmail recipients? Selected.
Performance beats provider matching. Smartlead's ESP matching treats all Gmail mailboxes as equal. Superkabe knows which ones actually perform.

3. Real-Time Infrastructure Monitoring
Superkabe monitors every mailbox, domain, and campaign continuously:
- Bounce rate tracking with sliding window analysis
- DNS health — SPF, DKIM, DMARC checked on every assessment
- SMTP/IMAP connectivity — catches authentication failures
- Blacklist monitoring — 410 DNSBL lists, tiered by severity (critical, major, minor)
- Engagement signals — open rate, reply rate, spam complaint rate
When any metric crosses a threshold, Superkabe reacts within seconds — not hours, not the next morning when you check your dashboard.
4. Auto-Pause Before Damage
This is the core differentiator. When a mailbox's bounce rate crosses the safety threshold (configurable, default 2%), Superkabe physically pauses the mailbox on the sending platform via API.
No human intervention. No waiting. The mailbox stops sending before the domain's reputation is permanently damaged.
In our testing, this single feature prevented an average of 3.2 domain burns per month for a team running 50+ domains.
5. 5-Phase Healing Pipeline
Pausing a mailbox is not enough. If it just sits there paused forever, you've lost a sending asset. Superkabe automatically recovers paused mailboxes through 5 phases:
Pause → Quarantine → Restricted Send → Warm Recovery → Healthy
(DNS check) (15 clean sends) (50 sends/3 days) (full capacity)
Each transition is gated by deterministic health checks — not arbitrary timers. A mailbox only graduates when it proves it can send cleanly.
6. Lead Control Plane
Upload CSV lead lists directly into Superkabe's Email Validation dashboard. Every lead is validated, classified by recipient ESP, and routed to campaigns with the best-performing mailboxes pinned.
You see exactly what happened:
"237 leads uploaded → 12 invalid (5 disposable, 3 no MX, 2 syntax, 2 catch-all), 8 risky, 217 routed. Gmail leads → 3 mailboxes. Outlook leads → 5 mailboxes."
Export clean lists as CSV for standalone validation, or route directly to Smartlead, Instantly, or EmailBison.

What Superkabe Is NOT
- Not a sending platform — use Smartlead, Instantly, EmailBison for sending
- Not a warmup tool — use Instantly, Lemwarm, Warmup Inbox for warmup
- Not a CRM — use HubSpot, Salesforce, Close for pipeline management
- Superkabe protects the infrastructure these tools operate on
Warmup gets you started. Your sending platform executes. Superkabe makes sure nothing burns down while it's running.
Try It
If you're running cold outreach at any real scale — 10+ domains, 50+ mailboxes, 5,000+ emails per month — you need an infrastructure protection layer. Whether that's Superkabe or something you build internally, the alternative is manually checking dashboards every morning and hoping nothing broke overnight.
We chose to stop hoping and start engineering.
